Okay, what we have here are the script files for Ghost Trick. The scripts are sorted by location- st01 is the junkyard, st02 is the superintendent’s office, and so forth.
How strange, there are no folders for st08, st10 and st012.
Were those three originally planned locations that were removed later on in development? Some of the unused music tracks might even have been used there.
Unfortunately, it’s not like we can find anything out.
Huh, is that how they’re sorted? That never clicked for me. Cool.

EDIT: Oh for fuck’s sake why is it so difficult to make Read-Mores actually work. Sorry for this huge post, those of you who don’t care about this, but I’m in the middle of something and don’t have the patience to wrestle with tumblr right now.
I actually bothered to look at the structure of the text files and figure out how to find individual messages instead of just trudging through the whole file and ending up with a bunch of metadata as cruft.
Now the output looks like this:

All those lines starting with \xff24y appear at the top with no portrait associated, so I can guess what that means pretty easily. The fact that it takes a “y” as an argument, though, instead of just being \xff24, suggests that I’ll need to dig a bit further.
